Maple Leaf Gardens

H&J provided electrical engineering service for the conversion of Maple Leaf Gardens to a mixed-use complex including a below grade parking level, 85,000 square foot Loblaws grocery store (including full fit out) and base building infrastructure for a multi-level athletics facility for Ryerson University including the home of their varsity hockey and basketball teams. The original 1931 building façade, roof and rafters were all kept, and featured as part of the renovation to ensure the rich history of the building was not lost.
