Sherway Gardens

Electrical Design, Lighting Design

Electrical engineering, high voltage and lighting design for the renovation and expansion of the mall. The $550M project included a new 210,000 square foot food court, redevelopment of the existing Sears area and redevelopment of all existing mall common corridors. H&J also re-engineered the electrical infrastructure, upgrading from the existing 120/208V distribution to a new 347/600V system to serve both the new and existing areas of the mall, including HV distribution in coordination with Toronto Hydro. Three new above grade parking garages were also completed, including a wireless vehicle counting and wayfinding system.
