H&J supported the redevelopment of this downtown Toronto property through feasibility studies, a major building retrofit and the fit-out of the landmark Daphne restaurant. Mechanical upgrades replaced aging district steam systems with high-efficiency VRF heat pumps and incorporated innovative air-sealing strategies, reducing operating costs, carbon emissions, and heating demand. The project showcases how thoughtful engineering can enhance building performance while supporting the renewal of existing urban assets.
